This site is a remake of the great Blosxom-project from Douglas Nerad, who has built up the well known Unofficial Blosxom User Group.

Most of the pages and the development of the "Unofficial User Group" is outdated and you'll also find recent versions of plugins and Blosxom itself today at the active developer-community at SourceForge.

Blosxom is relaunched!

The old collection was and is still a great archiv, so I contacted Douglas Nerad at the begin of April 2011 and asked him, if it's ok, that I mirror his Blosxom plugin-collection, before he closes the site in the near future - and he said 'yes'. Thanks a lot - he worked hard on the project for a long time - so all kudos to him!

Perhaps you have the opinion, that Blosxom seems to be dead today. There was a big and active development around 2003, 2006 and 2008 - but then Wordpress and other blog-engines followed. So today there are only a few developers are active and there are also less Blosxom-bloggers than many years ago - but it still lives and grows again. And the great thing is - it's still a solid and full functional blog-script.

With this site we want to relaunch Blosxom in the public again - to show, that you don't need 3000 Files and a datebase just to blog some lines of text. It's an ode to the minimalistic way of blogging... and a project for non-technical users and fans.

If you want to support this site or if you are a developer of one of the plugins or Blosxom, drop me a line - we're looking now for a new, fresh developer-team to improve the current version! talk@muli.cc
